Sharla Qualle Ae-Andrias is a playable character in MARDEK. She is one of the other royal guards who venture into the Gem Mine of Goznor with Mardek and Deugan. She seems to be attracted to Donovan. Her mother is Priestess Gail Ae-Quall in the Air Temple in Aeropolis.

Background[]

Sharla portrait

A quiet girl who signed up to join the Guard at the same time as Mardek and Deugan. She's exceedingly shy and rarely speaks at all, and seems quite mild-mannered and kind of heart. She joined the Guard to help and heal people rather than to destroy. She seems to have feelings for Donovan.

Involvement[]

Sharla has very little involvement in Chapter 2. She goes to the mission in the Gem Mine (in party with Donovan). They take the right path here, which leads to the imprisoned miners.

In Chapter 3, she accompanies Donovan and Mardek to the Sun Temple to investigate the monster attacks there. She heals Solaar in the chamber before the Dark Crystal in the Dark Temple if she knows Healing Wind; otherwise, Mardek will. She is of the Aeromancer class, and her skills are classified as Aeromancy.

Battle[]

SharlaBattle

Sharla's skillset is Aeromancy in Chapter 3. A full list of Sharla's skills in battle can be found here.

As an Aeromancer, Sharla's speciality is Air, both offensively and defensively. She also has high agility, with a possibility of 26.

Her role in the party is more on the defensive and supportive side since she can heal and protect party members from Air-elemental attacks. Thanks to her agility, she can do it at the start of the battle for instant healing or protection. One of her skills, Agility Boost, is very useful for party members that lack agility. Sharla has a very high MP-pool at her disposal and will usually take very long for her to run out of it.

To compensate for her MP and agility, she is very weak against physical attacks and often, she will only take 2 to 3 hits from physical attacks from strong enemies.

Use Sharla when fighting against Air-elemental enemies for defensive assurance or fighting against Earth-elemental enemies for greater offense.
