The Emperor (whose real name is unknown) is a minor character in Deliverance. Although he plays no direct role in the story, he is responsible for its entire plot.
Story[]
The Emperor was the ruler of the protagonist's planet, with immense magical powers. He alone prevented his planet's destruction, but he caught some sort of 'magical disease' which almost killed him, resulting in the destruction of the planet. His death was delayed when he was placed in cryogenic stasis aboard the Marauder, whose crew now travel the galaxy searching for a Cure.
