They form from the miasma amidst the boughs of trees, where they're easily mistaken for branches by unwary travellers, who receive the full brunt of a sudden torpedo-like flying tackle when their backs are turned.Bestiary description
In Miasmon, a Barkuda is a Transient Aquatic/Plantoid monster.
Barkudas have a greyish, fishlike head with a pronounced underbite, sharp teeth, and grey eyes. Their body resembles a large stick, with several leafy branches reminiscent of fins protruding from it.
There is nowhere that Barkudas can be fought as enemies.
Barkudas have high POWER and AGILITY. They are weak against Air attacks.
Barkudas have high POWER and AGILITY, but their SPIRIT and VITALITY are slightly below average.
Barkudas are weak to Air but resist Water and the spiritual elements.
Barkudas share a skill pool with their prevolution, Leafish, so they cannot learn any new skills through evolution. It can use Water, Earth and non-elemental attacks. It is able to increase its POWER and protect itself, and it can cause foes to bleed or flinch.

Obtaining and Evolution
A Barkuda can be evolved from a Leafish when it reaches Level 6. It is possible to cancel the evolution, in which case the same evolution will be available at each subsequent levelup.
- Its name is a combination of "bark" and barracuda, a large saltwater fish.
